Right. I’ve decided that I’m cutting my hair. I keep getting headaches when I pull my hair back or up. This is probably because my wisdom teeth are coming in, and my head is sensitive as … something-really-sensitive, I guess. Anyway, I also can’t stand the feeling of hair on the back of my neck. It makes me squirm. Winter’s almost over, and I have tons of pantas and scarves to see me thru.

Heck, my parents have even offered to pay for the cut. I just need someone’s opinion who knows what I look like, and has some idea of what styles will/won’t be flattering. I asked my parents and they just looked at me weird. I’m hoping Vonnie and Em have some ideas here. I was thinking layered flapper-esque wouldn’t be bad…

Anyone?

About the Author fyberduck

I love socks, lace, and all sorts of ‘traditional’ knitting subjects. I studied Classics and textile history (independent minor) at Uni and have a love of anything ancient. That said, I also like to mix it up with modern shapes and silhouettes, often with a little tradition thrown in for fun.

  1. I personally like it when I have my hair cut kinda 20s like, with it shorter in the back and longer in the front. My bangs hit right below my chin. Then I can tuck my hair behind my ears, so it is out of the way. It is shorter in the back so it doesn’t bug my neck. Mom calls it a mary engelbreit hair cut, but it isn’t quite. It does looks 1920s though.
