It is 3 am.

I have officially finished the front tapestry trim and collar. Also, the hem is tacked up to be finished tomorrow.

Once I cut out the tapestry bias, of course. And then I have to put the extra trimmings on – ribbon, cord, and possibly crescents.

(YAWN)

Maybe, if I’m reallyreally lucky, elves will come in the night and finish it for me. Anyone want to place bets on the likelihood of that happening?

About the Author fyberduck

I love socks, lace, and all sorts of ‘traditional’ knitting subjects. I studied Classics and textile history (independent minor) at Uni and have a love of anything ancient. That said, I also like to mix it up with modern shapes and silhouettes, often with a little tradition thrown in for fun.
