I have actually finished knitting, weaving in ends, and crocheting on edges on Project #3.  Now I just have to figure out how to block it…  It’s huge and I have a border collie-mix, so I can’t block it on the carpet without it getting absolutely covered in dog hair.  There’s also no bed to block it on, either.

Ideas?   Anyone?

(Also; sock #1 for Maggie: done! )

About the Author fyberduck

I love socks, lace, and all sorts of ‘traditional’ knitting subjects. I studied Classics and textile history (independent minor) at Uni and have a love of anything ancient. That said, I also like to mix it up with modern shapes and silhouettes, often with a little tradition thrown in for fun.

  1. Block it on a big sheet on the floor (in room temporarily shut off from pets), maybe? Buy a clearance rack/thrift store king-sized sheet for the purpose, if necessary. (Then deduct it from your business expenses when you do your taxes. Ha!)
