Took a traveling sock(s) photo at Moonstruck (in Beaverton) while Opus and I waited for our orders:

noro-socks

My family made a liar out of me this weekend. Despite feeling extremely icky (it’ll pass), I was forced to flee the house or kill my brother and spend the rest of my life in a minimum-security prison that wouldn’t let me knit.

Not acceptable.

For the most part it was a good day. Opus drove me around Beaverton, we went to The Knitting Bee, which reminded me strongly of The Knit Shop, except they didn’t have a St M :( Oh, well, can’t have everything. I grabbed a ball of Zephyr for a project I’ll probably never have time for.

And that is everything relevant.  I’m still trying to find a way to block The Sweater, but that’s another post.

About the Author fyberduck

I love socks, lace, and all sorts of ‘traditional’ knitting subjects. I studied Classics and textile history (independent minor) at Uni and have a love of anything ancient. That said, I also like to mix it up with modern shapes and silhouettes, often with a little tradition thrown in for fun.
